This Tilapia sandwich is loaded with tender grilled fish, crunchy bacon, crisp lettuce and juicy tomatoes.
Grilled Tilapia BLT Sandwich
- 4 Regal Springs Tilapia fillets
- 4 brioche buns sliced in half
- 12 strips thick-cut bacon
- paprika to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices tomato
- 8 leaves Bibb lettuce
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
To toast the brioche buns, place each half cut side down in a dry sauté pan over medium heat. Check frequently until toasted to your liking, then remove and set aside until ready to use.
Using the same pan, cook bacon until crisp, turning once. Remove and set aside.
Grill the Regal Springs Tilapia fillets for approximately 4 minutes per side, or to an internal temperature of 165°F. Remove from grill and season with paprika, salt and pepper.
Spread mayonnaise on both sides of each bun. Assemble sandwiches by placing one Tilapia fillet on each bottom bun, followed by bacon, tomato and lettuce. Cover with top bun and enjoy.
