The Paleo Diet (which may also be known as the Caveman Diet) is becoming increasingly popular, especially with the rise of health-conscious activities like Crossfit. Plus, it’s highly recommended by doctors and nutritionists too. The reason it’s referred to as the Caveman Diet is because you’re only allowed to eat things that our hunter-gatherer ancestors could have found and prepared. While that doesn’t sound very limiting, this diet extends to how the food is cooked as well. As a result, meals are quite basic, but that isn’t necessarily a negative thing. There’s a lot to know about the Paleo diet (and any diet for that matter!) and we’re here to answer some of the most common questions.
Like many diets out there, the Paleo diet can be a great option for health-conscious consumers if observed in a responsible way. If you’re interested in it, be sure to do a lot of research into how it can complement your lifestyle. You need to be dedicated if you decide that going Paleo is right for you, but overall the diet’s restrictions are quite simple to understand and you can do a heck of a lot with what you’re given.
